* These MSDS sheets are for the pure undiluted reagents.The MSDS for acetic acid is for glacial acetic acid, which is 99.5 to 100% pure acetic acid. This experiment only calls for a 5% acetic acid solution (household vinegar) which is less hazardous.
The MSDS for ethanol is for pure, denatured ethanol. This experiment only calls for a 50% solution, which is less flammable and less hazardous.
