Make Your Own Polymer - Teacher's Notes

Notes: The second part of this activity is pretty advanced in terms of the research involved. It would be possible to use only the first section of the activity to familiarize students with polymer properties and the fact that polymers can be blended.

More advanced groups in an interdisciplinary track of study could make the activity an ongoing project centered around creating and marketing a fictional new product.
